Zushi This restaurant was my introduction to sushi in Amsterdam making it my favorite for several years now. Zushi is located in the heart of the city overlooking the Amstel river, offering pretty views while you enjoy delicious fresh food in a relaxing atmosphere. Want to know the best part?

There's a sushi conveyer belt in the center of it, and you chose your dishes from it! Each type of dish has a different color of the plate so when the time comes to pay, it's about the color of plates you've collected. There are, of course, dishes you can order a la carte such as warm meat dishes.

Kaiko: This tiny restaurant is located in the Rivierenbuurt of Amsterdam is tiny but oh so tasty! You can see the chef in action making beautiful sushi true to traditional Japanese style using, of course, fresh ingredients only while making interesting combinations. This place is definitely about the food, not the design or styling, this chef has a clear goal, making perfect sushi!

Utaro This restaurant is known for its traditional style of food served in a cozy atmosphere.

Akitsu This restaurant is hidden a bit considering it is slightly off course for visitors to Amsterdam, however, it's worth it! Lovely traditional Japanese food served in a quiet setting, offering very friendly service.

Nooch is an Asian cuisine restaurant where you explore different flavors and enjoy a little taste of everything.
