Top 10 X Beach Clubs To Visit This Summer In The Netherlands!
Life Is Better At The Beach!
Summer is upon us and so, to the beach I say! It is time for some much-needed Vitaminesea!
In the Netherlands, it takes a bit longer perhaps for spring and summer to come knocking however, when it comes, it is a wonderful place for a summer holiday!
The Dutch coastline is uniquely beautiful! The best thing about the Dutch coastline is the fact that the beaches are really wide! Because of that, even during busy times, you can still enjoy the beach and the sea in comfort, without it feeling overcrowded.
The beachfront is around 230 km and offers a variety of water activities to do, walking paths, dunes, and of course, fabulous beach clubs. When looking for fun in the sun in the Netherlands, you can either visit the Wadden Islands in the North of the country, visit the coastline of the province of North Holland, or the province of Zeeland.
The Netherlands has many amazing beaches for sunny days and gorgeous fiery sunsets.
Beach clubs to me are the best part about hanging out on a beach somewhere. I have made a selection of my top 10 beach clubs, so you know where to go to enjoy awesome summer vibes and have cool experiences in The Netherlands.
PRO TIP ~ Access to Dutch beaches in the North and South Holland provinces are mostly small one-lane inland roads, there are no highways to take you all the way to the beach I'm afraid.
These small roads go through small towns and protracted nature parks, which leads to there being heavy congestion during the high season.
If you are traveling by car, make sure you leave home bright and early to you avoid traffic jams and parking problems. There are trains running to the area of some of the beaches and from the station, you can either bike or take a local bus.
Top 10 X Beach Clubs In The Netherlands
Blooming Beach, Bergen aan Zee ~ Beautifully decorated, it is a great beach spot to enjoy sea views, have delicious bites and drinks, and just chillax on a sunbed. Blooming Beach is open daily from 10 am.
Hippie Fish, Zandvoort ~ Hippie Fish is opened daily for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and of course drinks in between. Very bohemian/Ibiza ambiance, I love it!
Tulum, Noordwijk ~ Noordwijk is very popular making it one of the more crowded beach areas. If you choose to come here on sunny weekends, make sure you leave home bright and early.
There are a few options along the beach to settle for the day. Have a stroll and pick the one that appeals the most to you. Tulum is my pick! This hotspot is great also because it's spacious and more spread out, with very easy breezy vibes.
You have two sitting options; sit in the restaurant area or sit in the second more open area where you can order off a beach menu items such as burgers and drinks. I personally prefer the second area, it's more relaxing and the views are amazing.
The Tijn Akersloot beach ~ This pavilion is located at the end of the Zandvoort Boulevard. Think relaxed atmosphere, tasty bites, drinks, sunbeds, and wait for it…They are open year-round! Yes, year-round!
Sanblas ~ This beach club is located in Bloemendaal aan Zee, it’s also open year-round, a beach pavilion where you can enjoy all the summer has to offer.
Beach Club Fuel ~ Located in Bloemendaal aan Zee as well, it is a spacious restaurant where the setup is well designed and thought out. The menu consists of French classics, seafood, burgers, and a kids' menu. There are also live music and other events that take place throughout the season.
Ubuntu Beach ~ Located in Zandvoort, this place is inspired by Bali and Ibiza and that is evident throughout. From the decor to the food; the vibe is exotic and fun.
Barbarossa ~ This stylish beach club is located in fashionable Scheveningen, Den Haag.
Nomade Beach House ~ This is one of the best beach clubs in Noordwijk! I love their beach menu, check out the Mediterranean platter.
Strandpaviljoen Deining ~ This beach club is in Castricum, this is such a colorful stretch of beach!
