It is hard to believe that another summer is slowly coming to an end, and what a fun and dynamic summer it has been! Are you a summer lover like me?

If you’ve been following me for a while you may already know that my summers are spent in my homeland of Israel, this is where all of my family still live. Summers for me are more than just about the sunshine and vitamin sea. It is about going home to recharge, it's about family, fun road trips, nights out exploring new places to share with all of you while enjoying 50 shades of blue.

Tel Aviv, my favorite hangout! It is forever-evolving, there are always new hotspots opening up, outside-the-box concept stores to check out, and of course, beach clubs and activities to enjoy.

In this post, I'm going to share new places to visit, and activities you can do in Tel Aviv.

Travel Tips For Tel Aviv 2022

  • Go on a culinary tour: There are many options to choose from depending on personal taste, in this link you can see an overview of the tours on offer

  • Take advantage of the new electrical scooters scattered around the city. It's fun not to mention an easy way to get from place to place here.

  • Beach Club TLV: I have spent many happy days here this past summer! This beach club offers two sitting options: Sit right on the beach where you can combine an enjoyable swim with working on your tan, and then picking something delish off the easy-breezy menu, not forgetting a delightful cocktail. Or you can sit upstairs in the restaurant area. Enjoy the views and a slightly more upscale menu without the sand.

You have a surf school on-site as well as a beach boutique. The design is so pretty and relaxing! I enjoyed sitting in one of the rocking chairs on the upper level with a cocktail, watching the sunset.

  • Rothchild 65: 65 Tel Aviv Hotel is a trendy boutique hotel in the heart of the city. Culinary wise it's inspired by Italian drinking culture and cuisine. Here you can indulge in a big breakfast at Café 65 (served until 13:00 each day), while later in the day, you can enjoy delicious snacks and wine during happy hour in Fontana, an aperitivo garden situated on the ground floor, perfect for spending warm evenings surrounded by Tel Avivan buzzing vibes all around you.

  • Tel Aviv is famous for its bars and what better way to explore exactly what we mean by saying typical Tel Aviv bar/vibes than to hang out in the evenings where the locals do? Dizengoff street has many buzzing neighborhood bars that are worth a visit.

Bar hopping has never been more fun! My favs? Double Standard, Cafe Popular, Bell-Boy, and Room Service.

  • Take a stroll around Nachlat Binyamin and the neighboring streets of Achad Haam and Montefiore: In this area, you'll find stunning old buildings built in traditional German Bauhaus style. Now renovated, they are breathtaking! Here you'll find the world's best-preserved buildings in this unusual master style.

  • Every Tuesday & Friday there's an art market in Nachlat Binyamin, very colorful and creative artists showcase their talent.

  • Visit Shuk Hacarmel: Nothing will say Tel Aviv like this market! Here you can find everything under the sun. It is mostly famous for the smell of spices hanging in the air and the colorful veg and fruit displays up and down the market streets. Taste the traditional sweets and pastries here such as baklawa and burekas, and check out the tiny and tasty restaurants.

Other interesting markets in the area are Shuk Levinsky and the Flea Market in Jaffa.

  • The Honolulu bar is the first Tiki bar in Tel Aviv, Hawaiian vibes, never a bad idea, am I right?

  • Enjoy the beachfront! Endless options for tasty food, views, and beautiful people.

My favs? Calypso, Gazoz beach, and the Banana beach.
