This restaurant has been around since 1978, it was legendary for its shawarma and has been a household name in Amsterdam. After running the business for 38 years, Mr. Cohen has recently decided to pass the baton on to his sons. Giving it a complete makeover, Allon and Dalien have transformed this shawarma bar into an atmospheric Tel Avivian street food restaurant where you can enjoy both the flavors as well as true Tel Avivian vibes.
The decor and styling are just like home! It made me happy inside just walking in here, knowing I now have a go-to spot here when I miss home, not to mention hummus.

The menu is authentic, true to the origin, showcasing traditional Israeli dishes with a yummy twist, simply delicious! Shawarma is still the queen here, as I'm vegetarian I took the empty plates of my friends as proof of that fact lol

My favorites on the menu are the humshakshuska; a combination of hummus and shakshuka, a must-try dish, and the mushroom shawarma. YUM!
