Where to Stay

HM Gran Fiesta For a comfortable and convenient stay, I recommend HM Gran Fiesta in Palma.

This beachfront location was great! We had a pretty room with a balcony and glorious sea views, it is easy access from here to many of the island's attractions, it is right on the boulevard so you have a great selection of bars and restaurants to explore each night, and it features beautiful facilities, including a rooftop pool, bar, and restaurant. This chain has hotels around the island.

Palma Beach is a very busy and popular spot so should that not fit your needs, why not check other locations they have?

At Playa de Palma you can enjoy the stunning views, relaxing atmosphere, and excellent service, making it an ideal base for your Mallorca adventures.

Rooftop pool goals!

Getting Around

Car Rental- To truly experience Mallorca, I highly recommend renting a car. A car provides the freedom to explore the island at your own pace, from the bustling streets of Palma to the serene, hidden beaches and charming mountain villages. With well-maintained roads and scenic routes, driving here is easy. It will take slightly longer than what you are possibly used to at home as many roads are one lane, but the surroundings make up for the time. all you need is GPS to navigate the island’s winding roads and remote areas.

Parking in busy areas like Palma Town and other popular tourist spots parking can be a challenge. Make sure you pay when parking in a pay zone area as fines are high. When the road near the pavement is marked with white paint it means it is free, blue paint indicates it is paid parking.

Parking must usually be paid for from 9 or 9.30 am until 2 pm and from around 4 until 9 pm, Mondays to Fridays, and from 9.30 am until 2 pm on Saturdays. Place the ticket on your windscreen where it can be seen by the parking attendant.
